The Sony Cinema Line FX30 is a Super 35mm camera that sports a newly enhanced back-illuminated APS-C 20.1MP Exmor R CMOS Sensor, combined with a powerful BIONZ XR Image Processor to ensure that videographers can capture high-resolution video quality, 4K videos at 120p, Full HD at 240p and 10-bit 4:2:2 All-Intra recording.

The advanced AF performance features functionality for Real-time Eye AF for humans, animals or birds and it features AF Assist that smoothly switches between auto and manual focus. The camera features effective image stabilization, making it easier for hand-held shooting, and the stability is even better when combined with wide-angle lenses.
It offers a variety of recording formats, and shooting modes that will constantly record remarkable quality and produce cinematic footage without having to grade the footage when using S-Cinetone.
